I think the look is cute, it’s like what in the world is going on right now.

Why are they so much better at one then at two years old?

I’m going to try and do this type of shot more often, it’s always seems to end up being really cute.

I did my first maternity photoshoot and I thought it turned out surprisingly well. I didn’t post many of the pictures from the shoot because the couple might not appreciate it, but here is one that I really liked. The sun was perfect that evening. In fact, I’ve decided starting in the Spring I’m generally only going to do photography at the perfect time of the evening and just charge a bit more for it. It’s just too hard trying to schedule multiple shoots in one day and fight with the sun.

I just thought this was a cool shot, in the large size you can really see the detail of the sand. I must have hit the focus just right on this one.

Another recent shot I liked. I think this shot looked much nicer in a black and white. Some shots just seem made for that. I hope I didn’t overdue the vignette. I can finally do a nice looking vignette effect again because Boutwell’s Totally Rad Actions have finally been updated for Photoshop CS4. Some of them were broken upgrading to the latest Photoshop. Basically these actions allow me to do some extremely nice photoshop effects that you would have to be a genius to come up with on your own. This uses the Magical B&W and Vignette Plus Blur Actions.

I just thought this was a cute shot. It’s so nice when the kids are happy and in a good mood, too bad it can’t always be like this.
